My goodness has it really been a month since the show? Hope you are all looking forward to Beauty and the Beast! I’m so there as a dancing teacup (lol).

I just wanted to put out a final newsletter wrapping up the Wizard of Oz. The show was a great success and the production team asked me to say, on their behalf, a very big thank you to everyone involved in the show for all your hard work.

Music scores missing

I am afraid we are still missing 2 black music books. We will be charged for these books so please check to see if you have one lying forgotten somewhere and hand into Julie.

Social Gathering

Our annual post show social gathering at Graeme’s will be in November – date still to be finalised - watch the website! (reminder: it is for adult cast only.)

Tickets Incentive

If you have any money to come from the tickets incentive it needs to be claimed by 30 October at the very very latest. No money can be returned after this date as our accounts for Wizard of Oz close on 31 October. Please contact Julie on 07846 015648.

Mary Leishman Foundation

Limelight are to donate £2000 to the Mary Leishman Foundation – our chosen charity for Wizard of Oz.

Alhambra

We are very pleased to announce that our 2010 production of Beauty and the Beast will be staged in the Alhambra.

Auditions and Rehearsals for Beauty and the Beast

Auditions will be held February/March 2010 – please watch the website for more details.

We don’t yet have a start date for rehearsals for Beauty and the Beast so again, please keep an eye on the website for details.

AGM

The AGM will be towards the end of January – final date still to be finalised.

Rosyth Musical

Rosyth are putting on the King and I next year – 23rd to 27th March. Kids if you are interested please contact Margaret Walker 01259 740321.

And big congratulations to Clare McGarr and Kevin Reed for landing the roles of Anna and the King.
